One is This is the way. The other is It’s time to go to school. 2.? Read the dialogue in Lesson 10 in pairs. Step 2 The new lesson 1. Show the picture of “Put away” to the pupils. Ask : What’s the girl doing? Tell the class to take out their things in the pencil-box. Then teach the new sentences: Put away your pen/pencil/eraser… Put away all your school things. 2. Get the pupils to read in pairs and ask someone to read in class. 3. Look at the picture on the blackboard. Teach the new phrases: watch TV/go to bed. Get the pupils to read by themselves. 4. Make up a short dialogue: T: Can I watch TV? S: Yes, but put away your pencil first. T: OK. I’ll do that. Change the words and do this exercises some times. Step 3 Practice 1. Look at the books and read after the tape. Ask some pupils to read it out. 2.
