MA Creative Media Industries: Journalism Introduction: This full time Masters programme will offer you the opportunity to study journalism at postgraduate level in the context of a department (Culture, Writing and Performance) that provides a rich portfolio of arts and humanities courses, from artistic production and management (including drama, creative writing, arts and theatre management) through to critical and cultural contextualisation (including multimedia journalism, media/moving image studies, film and English Studies). The course locates a range of multimedia journalism practices within the creative media industries and you will have the opportunity to acquire and develop key journalistic skills (writing, research, multimedia production) and put those skills into practice in two core modules: Professional Practice and in Major Project where you will choose to submit work for either a multimedia production, feature writing portfolio, investigative journalism package or video news/audio production.
