The exper x mi ents on the p ro l sis of raw coal and dem ineralized coal w ith d ifferent carbon contents and ironcontain ing compoundsw ere carried out in a fixed bed quartz reactorw ith the tem perature programm ed. The influencing fac tors of HCN form ation and release during coal p rol sisw ere ex am ined. The results show that the effect of iron contain ing compounds in coal on HCN release depends on the coal t pes. A nd the iron added to coal b mi preg nation and precipitation m ethod can significantl reduce the formation ofHCN for low er coalification coals.
