Fro the perspective of history and logic, the different co prehension of toxicity between Western edicine and traditional Chinese edicine was discussed after retracing the eaning of drug toxicity in traditional Chinese edicine. The authors suggest that it s not feasible to study the Chinese edicine coping echanically and applying indiscri inately the concept and the research idea about odern drug toxicity since there is different understanding of drug toxicity between traditional Chinese edicine and Western edicine.
