Abstract: In this paper, the mine transient electromagnetic method, the underground high density detection
and downhole Rayleigh waves were used to carry out advanced detection on the collapse zone of the seam
floor in the coal flowing channel in Dongqu segment, and thus respectively defined the abnormal water-rich
areas. After comparing the results of the three methods, the water-rich abnormal area was determined and the
reason for the subsidence of the coal channel floor was found and later got verified by drilling. The case fully
illustrated that comprehensive geophysical technology is an effective way to avoid the shortcomings and
multiplicity when only one technology was used and thus achieve more accurate detection .
