one- dimension search in conjugate gradient are adopted to ensure the equality of reconstru cted image from incomplete pro-
jections and shorten the reconstru ct ion time simultaneously The experimental results of reconstruction from computer- gen-
erated projections and real missile tomography projections have successfully shown that the fast algorithm gu arantees the fit-
ness to original image, speeds the iteration t ime, and can be specially used for reconstruction for incomplete projections in
FAN scanning
