By finite element method, it mostly focused onthefollowing aspects: the type choosing of the roof, the calculation and analysis of the singlelayer aluminum shell, the influence of the stiffness of the concrete frame on the loading behavior of the aluminum shell. The stiffness and loading capacity of joints were discussed as well. The results indicate that the singlelayer aluminum shell is controlled by the overall buckling and the joint design can satisfy the requirement. The practice may provide some useful suggestions for thefuture design of the aluminum shell.
