Abstract : This paper introduces an explicit stepbystep integration formula for vibration equation of damped structural
system. The stability and accuracy of this formula are also discussed. Displacement, velocity and acceleration response of
structural system can be obtained by this formula simultaneously. Accuracy of accelerat ion response is improved and sati
sfied for engineering application.
