Unit 8 Ill help clean up the city parks 【教学目标】 知识目标: 1. 掌握以下词汇:website 2. 掌握并会运用下列短语和句型。 短语:句型:’m going to give out your test paper. My friend Dave came up with a great idea! I give away some clothes to charity. Jim takes after his father. They are both clever and a bit quiet. 能力目标 1. Train the students to use the phrasal verbs well. 2. Train the students’ reading skill. 3. Train the students’ writing skill. 情感目标 What do you want to be in the future? Try to come up with an idea to get much volunteer experience. It will be good for both you and the others. 【重点难点】 重点: 1.掌握本单元重点单词及短语:give away ,take after ,come up with ,give out ,hand out 2.会运用重点句型:I’d love to…./ I’d like to ……./ I could do……. 3.写一篇关于Sally的文章。 难点: 1. Make up sentences with give away ,take after ,come up with ,give out ,hand out 2. Write an article about Sally. 【教学过程】 I. 复习热身 教师活动:让生继续做值日生报告,报告的内容必须紧扣本单元话题()hunger , homeless , clean-up , sign , advertisement , set, establish , major , coach , fix , repair , similar, call-in , strategy 1) I’d like to work outside. 2) You could help clean up the city parks. 3) We need to come up with a plan. 4) We can’t put off making a plan. 5) He looks sad. Let’ cheer him up. 6) We are going to set up a food bank to help hungry people. (写完后小组内互改,组长报告单词检查情况,教师抽查。) II.Task2 Words and expressions 1) 学生复习—65页的生词(),做到会读、会写,小组成员相互检查,组长统计单词过关率并向老师报告。 2) 学生通读整个单元(回扣课本),让每个小组总结出本单元的重点短语和句式结构,每个小组推荐一名同学向全班报告,教师帮助归纳、总结并板书。引导他们进行横向、纵向整合。然后小组合作探究,利用重点短语造句,小组之间展开竞赛,看看哪个小组造句多、快、好。 重点短语give away , take after , come up with , give out , hand outwrite down, put up ,call up, set up, not only…but also ,be similar to, work out ,ask for 重点句型:’ll help clean up the city parks.
