It’s time for something. 教学准备 Pictures OHP 教学过程 (内容 方法 手段) Ⅰrevise revise how to express the time: on weekdays / Monday/ Wednesday morning, in the evening/ afternoon, at six o’clock revise the two ways of express the time Ⅱ presentation draw a clock on the bb. Or we can use the visual aids, teach the following dialogues: A: What’s the time? B: It’s seven o’clock. It’s time to get up. Institute “wash your face , leave home, begin school, go to bed ”with “get up ” in the dialogue. And change the time which the clock shows. Ⅲpractice the students make up dialogues with the clock or the watches they have in pairs. They can change the content of the dialogues if they wish. They only need to do oral practice, but not need to write it down. Ⅳ read and act Part 1 on Page 51 . ask the students to close their books, ask the students two or three questions: What’s the time? What’s Jim doing? Play the tape, ask them to check their answers.(7:30, Jim is putting on his school clothes.) ask the students to open their books, and play the tape again, the students can repeat the dialogues in the tape. Ask the students to guess the meaning of “early”. Ask them to practice and make up dialogues in pairs. Then act it out. Ⅴpresentation revise the weekdays in a week. Tell them weekdays means people work on these days ,they include Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Help the students to say something about their weekdays. Ⅵask and answer Part 2 on Page 51. the students can practice in small groups. Ask the students to do some survey with the words on the right: get up, have breakfast, leave home. Let the students think about some questions: What time /When do you play games/clean your classroom/do your homework/go to bed? Ask one stude
