I. Contents:
Good afternoon! Ladies and gentlemen! Today I’m going to talk about Part A of Unit 3, PEP Primary English, Book 4. This lesson includes two parts: Let’s learn and Let’s do. In section 1, it presents six phrases about the clothes with the colour. Such as: white sweater, green skirt, brown jacket, blue dress, yellow T-shirt and red shirt. And in section 2, it provides the TPR activities to consolidate the new words. The main aim on this lesson is that Ss should know how to say the clothes they like in real life after learning this lesson. Such as: I like the blue skirt.
II. Teaching aims
1.???? Aims on the abilities
1). To help Ss to describe the colour of the clothes and to say which clothes they like.
2). To develop Ss’ s ability of speaking.
3). To foster Ss’ s ability of communication and their innovation.
2. Aims on the knowledge
1). To enable the Ss to understand and say six phrases: white sweater, green skirt, brown jacket, blue dress, yellow T-shirt and red shirt.
2) To help the Ss to use the sentence “I like the white sweater with the green skirt.”
3. Aims on the emotion
To lead the Ss to show their loveliness to the clothes and keep the clothes clean and tidy.
III. Key-points of this lesson
1). To help the Ss to grasp the six phrases about the clothes.
2). To develop Ss’ interests in learning.
IV. Difficult points
1). To lead Ss to say the clothes with the colour. Such as: pink skirt
2) To lead Ss to tell which clothes they like. Such as: I like the blue sweater with the white skirt.
V. Teaching praise
1). I’ll divide the Ss into six groups. Each group represents a kind of clothes. Let’s see which group can get the most points.
2). Each S does a good job can get a big hand “good, good, very good.” and a sticker.
