The drift ratio ofRC beams at yielding is related to theyielding strength of longitudinalbars and depth ofbeam cross section. Thedrift ratio ofRC beams at ultmi ate is related to stirrup characteristic value, shear-span ratio and relative compression depth. According to the expression of drift ofRC beam at ultmi ate, displacement-based deformation capacity design method ofRC beams is proposed.
