The method ofmatching algorithm based on layered- searching withwavelet analysis is studied in this pa per, including the comparisonw ith some traditionalmethods based onMATLAB. Themethod uses layered- search ing method from thick to thin, and differentmethods are used on different layers. The result indicates that themethod based on layered- searching withwavelet analysis is superior in the speed and precision of thematching. Themethod overcomes the drawback of the traditionalmatching methods effectively, and is feasible in the area of scenematching.
