nJlntearMed2008Dec；14(4 · 303 · CLINICALEXPERIENCE ClinicalObservationontheEffectofZengsePill(增色丸) TreatingPatientswithVitiligoofQi-stagnancyand Blood·stasisSyndromeType SHINian(石年)，CHENYong-jun(陈用军)，WANGJian(王建)，andNIHao(倪浩) ABSTRACT Objective：ToobservetheclinicalefficacyofZengsePiJf(增色丸，ZSP)onpatientswith vitiligoofqi．stagnancyandblood—stasissyndrometype(V-QB)，andtopreliminarilyexploreitsmechanism ofaction．Methods：Sixty—fiveV-QB patients，withtheirdiagnosisconfirmedbyclinicaIexamination，were randomizedbydigitaltablemethodintotwogroups．with31patientsinthecontrolgroupand34jnthe treatmentgroup．Cobamamide(2tablets)wasadministeredorallytoallpatients，andPsoraleatincture(a self．formulatedpreparation1wasappliedexternallythriceaday．Inaddition，forpatientsinthetreatment group，ZSPwasgivenorally，at5pillsperdose，3timeseveryday．Thetherapeuticcourseforboth groupswas3months．Patientswerere—examinedeveryhalf-month，andchangesintheskinIesionswere observedandrecorded．Thefevelsoflymphocytesubsets，serum immuneglobulin，andcomplement C3andC4inpatientsweredeterminedbeforeandafterthetherapeuticcourseandcomparedwithlhe correspondingindexesdeterminedjn21healthysubjects．Results：ThetotaIeffectiverateinthetreatment groupwas82．4％，whichwasmarkedlyhigherthanthatinthecontrolgroup(54．8％)，showingasignificant difference(P0．05)．Aftertreatment，CD4 percentage，CD4+／CD8 ratio，andbloodIevelsofC3andC4 increased．whileCDRpercentagedecreasedinthetreatmentgroup(P0．05orPO．01)．AIItheseindexes remainedunchanged inthecontroIgroup．andtherespectivecompansonsbetweengroupsshowed significantdifferencesfP0．01)．Conclusion：ZSPhasadefiniteclinicaIeffectonthetreatmentofV—QBbut withnoevidentadversereactions，anditcanincreasetheCD4percentage，CD4VCD8ratio，andtheIevels ofserum C3andC4，thusregulatin
