Theme A introductory Theme A focuses on two important aspects in the Topic Unit and Language focus: the school where the students go and the area where they live. The Theme provides cross—curricular links with Geography, Social Studies and Maths. Unit 5 is the first Activity Unit of the book and asks the students to make their own exercise Box to be used in the classroom for the rest of the year. Unit 6,Culture matters looks at different kinds of towns in Great Britain. Unit 7 provides revision activities to practise the language covered in Units 3—5.
