On the basis of investigation on properties of ferrous mill tailings, theworkability and strength of concretes were researched by substituting ferrous mill tailings for natural sand and/ or crashed stone, and themix proportion was optimized by means ofmineral admixtures. The result reveals that the satisfactoryworkabili2 ty and strength of concretes prepared by using ferrous mill tailings as aggregates can be obtained and thepossible strength grade can be up to C70.
