Abstract： Toenhancetheanti—breakingperformanceofprivacy information，thisarticleproposesanew encryp-
tion methodutilizingtheleaping peculiarity oftheperiodicorbitsofchaossystems．Thismethod mapsthesecret
sequenceto severalchaosperiodicorbits，andashortsequenceobtained by evolving thesystem parametersofthe
periodicorbitsin anothernonlinearsystem willbethekey to reconstructtheseperiodicorbits．Inthedecryption
end，theshadowingmethodofchaostrajectorybasedonthemodifiedNewton—Raphsonalgorithm isadoptedto
restorethesesystem parameters．Through deciding which orbiteach paircoordinatefallson，the originaldigital
sequencecna bedecrypted．
