[Abstract] Silicone/SiO2 organ ic2inorganic hybrid sol have b een prep ared from tetraethyl orthosilicate ( TEOS)
as inorgan ic precursor, m ethyl triethoxysilane (MTES) and diphenyl dmi ethoxy silane ( DDS) as organ ic precursor, the
hydroch loric acid and water as catalysts, by sol2ge lm ethod through the hydrolysis2 polycondensat ion reaction. Then a hy2
brid m ateria lwas obta ined by drying at 100e for 12 hours. The infrared sp ectrum ( FT2IR ) showed that organ ic and in2
organic dua l2phase form ed a strong interact ion in the hybrid m aterial. Thin fiml s were deposited from the hybrid solu sing
