As planned, it will provide basic service by the ends of 2015 and 2018 respectively. At that time, the system would also realize sustainable development. Transportation would like to be a vital application field of Nationwide Differential BDS System, with characteristics of large scale, multimode, wide range and high demandingness. It’s quite necessary to enforce top-level design of Nationwide Differential BDS System, if we want to develop high accuracy positioning applications in transportation field based on the system. Meanwhile, it’s also essential to have an overall consideration on the connection between Nationwide Differential BDS System and information systems of transportation and the uniform technical standard for both of them. Based on the investigation for high-accurate positioning application requirement in transportation field, the paper discusses the characteristics of transmission and usage of navigation satellite enhancement information in this field.
