The people at the special physiological stage include pregnant women, lactating women, infants, children and the elderly. And the special living or working environments include high temperature, low temperature, high sea level, exposure to toxic and harmful factors. The physiological characteristics and nutritional needs of the specific population are different from the normal. They are the vulnerable groups whose nutritional status and medical condition should be more focused on, and they are the most cared population who should be taken special protect measures for their health. This course will lecture the physiological characteristics, nutritional needs and dietary principle of the people all above and, introduces the latest research results and progress at home and abroad.
