Module 5 My neighbourhood Unit 4 Signs and rules 单元分析（unit analysis） 这个 module中有 4 个单元，本单元 Rules 由学生们的生活引入话题―――遵守交通规则。 教学目标（Unit target） 1.知识目标 ⑴ Learning these words: rule, cross, across, zebra, pavement, sign, match, turn, park ⑵ Using imperatives to express prohibitions ⑶ Using modal verb ‘can/ can’t/ don’t’ to express prohibitions ⑷ Using the present continuous tense to describe an action talking place at the time of speak: ◆ The girl is waiting on the pavement. 2.能力目标： ⑴ Using imperatives to give instructions: ◆Look right again! ⑵ Suing imperatives to express prohibitions: ◆Don’t play! ◆You can park your car here. ◆I can’t ride my bicycle here. ⑶ Using adverbs to express manner: ◆The boy is walking across the zebra crossing quickly. ⑷ Using connectives to show the time relationship between actions: ◆The boy is looking left, then right, then left. ⑸ Have the students distinguish the traffic signs ⑹ Have the students distinguish ‘cross/ across/ crossing’ ◆The girl is running across the zebra crossing 用心 爱心 专心 ◆The boy is crossing the road. 3.情感目标： 培养学生遵守交通规则的意识，让学生争当一个可爱的上海人。 教学建议：（共 3 课时） 第一课时 （p31） ⑴ 拍摄十字路口的短小录相，让学生观看后指出遵守和不遵守交通规则的现象。 ⑵ 引出 can/ can’t/ don’t 等祈使句的用法，让学生了解后并操练。 ⑶ 提出问题，让学生熟练掌握交通规则： ◆When can we cross the road? Where can we cross? How can we cross the road? ◆When can’t we cross the road? Where can’t we cross? What can we do when the traffic light is red? ⑷ 当学生对交通规则有大体的了解，并较熟练的掌握时让学生做 role-play.当我们在过马 路时应怎样正确穿过马路。 ⑸ Sing a song. 第二课时 (p32) ⑴ Sing the song on p31 ⑵ 展示本页中的图片，由老师和 more able student 做示范，导出本页中的重点：现在进 行时及副词的用法。 ⑶ 学生根据图片,按照ask and answer 部分的句型做 pair work，并让学生判断图片中的 对与错。 ⑷ Have students make dialogue ⑸ 情景再现：How do we cross the road? ⑹ 完成书本：How do we cross a road. 用心 爱心 专心
