Methods: 60 elbows o adult cadavers w ere dissected. The length and w idth o the arcuate ligament( AL) , the depth o the cubital tunnel, the ex- tension o the ulnar nerve( UE) and the distance rom medial epicondyle to olecranon( OE) as the elbow lexed rom neu- tral to 90 degrees w ere measured. Results: Variations in the arcuate ligament w ere classi ied into our types: , the prox- imal 1/ 2 part o the arcuate ligament w as absent; , the whole tunnel w as covered by arcuate ligament; , A thickened ascial band w as observed in the arcuate ligament ; , the thickened acial band w as replaced by muscle. The length and w idth o the arcuate ligament w ere 9. 7 2 . 3 mm and 14 . 1 4 . 2 mm respectively. The depth o the cubital tunel w as 5 . 2 1. 1 mm, The extension o ulnar nerve and the distance rom epicondyle to olecranon w ere 7 . 2% 0. 5% and 4. 7 1. 5 mm. Conclusions:The morpholog ic change o the cubital tunnel w as the anatomical pathogeny o the cubital tun- nel syndrome.
