U nder the loop w ith the welding m anhole condition and w ith activist m anhole condition, m echan ical stre ss of loop is analyzed by 3D nonlinear fin ite elem en t at different (p itch angle) location. It is found that the distribu tion of m echan ical stre ss and the stre ss level are much the sam e in the two condition s; the m echan ical stre ss at the p lace that the converter loop level of connection b lock s weld together w ith down cover p late is h igher, it is co incidence w ith the p rem ature de struction of foreign steel factory.
