In th is paper, a process of pressuresw ing distillation for separation of HFC245fa and HF azeotrope w as smi u lated by Aspen Plus. B inary interaction parameters of theW ILSHF model be tw een HFC245fa and HF w ere regressed against expermi ental data of vapor liqu id equ ilibria of HFC 245fa and HF. Based on the thermodynam ic mode,l the separation flow sheet, includ ing a h ighpressure distillation column and a lowpressure distillation column in series, w as smi u lated and analyzed by Aspen Plus. Important process parametersw ere optmi ized to m in mi ize energy consumption. The smi ulation result can be used for the design of an industrial p lant.
