Abstract: There are wt o versions ofThe Song of M ulan circulated until today. One beginsw ith / click, click, forever
click, click0, the other begins with / Mulan hugs the shuttle and sighs0. By comparing the two different versions,
M r. Gong anm ing believed that the former versionwas a balladmodified collectively by scholars of theTang Dynasty
on the basis of a ballad of the NorthernDynasties, while the latter onewas a ballad with the true quality of theNorth-
ern Dynasties. H is viewpoint refreshed people. s traditional thinking, but there exists a problem of logic confusion in
the reasoning process of this conclusion, which also lacks literature support, so it is not convincing and deserves dis-
cussing.
