HTS m aterials com b ine low t erm al conductivities w it t e ab ility to carry currentw it out resistive loss, and so offer t e possib ility of reducing t e refrigeration power and operational costs. T ispaper pres ents t e developm ent of a new low t erm al conductivityAg- 4at% Au alloy s eat ed B i- 2223 tape. T e perform ance of t is low t er m al conductivity B i- 2223 tape is also introduced. At t e end of t is paper, t e prototype of HTS current lead is given. T e critical current of t is curren t lead is 332A at 77K.
