Abs tract: The culturaldifferences could exert great mi pact on every field of translation and interpre
tation. The tourism interpretation is no exception. This article firstanalyses the mi pactof Sino- west
ern cultural differences on the tourism interpretation, and basd on those differences, it concludes
three principles that should be followed in tourism interpretation. Finally, w ithM eizhou as an exam
