(Acupuncture and Massage Dep art ment of Shanxi TCM College , Taiyuan 030024 , China) [ Abstract] 　Purpose 　To study protective action of different point combinations on gastric mucosa in t he rat of acute in j ury of gastric mucosa . Methods 　Effect s of acupuncture of different combinations of Zusanli ( ST 36) wit h ot her point s on nitric oxide (NO) and endot helin ( ET) content s in blood and gastric mucosa were dynamically investigated in t he rat wit h inj ury of gastric mucosa induced by alcohol . Results 　No/ ET ratio is related with protective mechanisms of gastric mu cosa. Electroacupuncture at Zusanli ( ST 36) and other point s has protective action on gastric mucosa. Particularlly , Combination of Zusanli ( ST 36) , Neiguan ( PC 6) and Zhongwan (CV 12) has the strongest protective action on gastric mucosa.
