先说小时候的理想 My interest in life science appeared when I was a child.The professions of my family members had enormous effect on me and drew my interests to human body and diseases. So I determined to become a life scientist and meantime chose to study knowledge related.But in the process of gradually comprehending this subject，I realized that I would not only be satisfied with curing specific symptom for one particular patient but also want to explore the truth of life and the inner workings of human body. Taking molecular oncology for an example, there are enormous oncogenes and suppressor genes involved in cancer, but how do these genes and their translation product affact each other thus cause the turbulence inside a cell? Which of them will become the breakthrough point or target to help us preventing the uncontrolled growth, invasion and metastasis of cancer cells? These unknow territory and the bright prospective of clinical applications on improvement of living quality made biomedical science the most attractive research direction to me. 再说为了实现理想，我选择了相应的大学和专业 To answer the questions above，make deeply research in these fields and achieve my childhood dream，I applied the the Basic Medicine programme of Peking University after college entrance exam.
