【自主领悟】(1)remind及物动词, 意为“提醒; 使想起”, 常用结构为remind sb. +that从句“提醒某人……”。例如: She wanted to remind us that we should protect the environment by showing us the beauty of nature. 她想通过展示自然之美来提醒我们应该保护环境。 (2)unless“除非; 如果不”引导条件状语从句, 相当于if not。例如: You won’t pass the exam unless you work hard. =If you don’t work hard, you won’t pass the exam. 如果你不努力学习你将通不过这次考试。 【归纳拓展】remind的不同搭配 (1)remind sb. to do sth. “提醒某人去做某事”。例如: My English teacher always reminds me to study hard at English every day. 我的英语老师总是提醒我每天努力学习英语。 (2)remind sb. of sth. “使某人想起某事”。例如: It reminds me of my best friend. 它使我想起了我最好的朋友。 【活学活用】 ①昨天, 吉米使我想起了他的哥哥。 Jimmy　　　　　me　　　　　his elder brother yesterday. ②请提醒我回复那封信。 Please　　　　　me　　　　　reply that letter. ③You will achieve nothing if you don’t work hard.
