一、Teaching plan background
1. To students:Junior Middle School Subject:English
2. Period:1
3. Students preparation before class:
(1)Revise the inventions that students learned in the last class and write them down on the blackboard.
(3) Preview the grammar the passive voice (P.69)
二、Teaching contents
《Unit 9 When was it invented?(Section A 3a-4) 》is from 《Go for it》Grade 9 . The teaching content is from 3a to 4.
三、Content Analysis
The main idea of the topic is to talk about some inventions,surrounding with inventors,the time and the usage of different inventions.The tarbet languabe is about the passive voice. Get the students to write as many inventions as they can..Then compare different inventions and show what are helpful inventions or annoying inventions.
(一) Teaching aims and demands
1. Knowledge Objects
(1) To study the new words “bulb, light bulb, microwave oven, microwave”
(2) To make the students know how to use the sentences:
What is the microwave oven used for? It’s used for cooking.
What do you think is the most helpful invention? I think it’s the light bulb.. It gives people more time to work and play every day.
2. Ability Objects
(1) To develop the students’ abilities of speaking and writing skills with the target language.
(2) To train the students ability of communication by learning the useful structures
3. Moral objects
To enable the students to work with others, know and communicate each other by talking five inventions they would like to have on the island by themselves.
(二) Teaching key and difficult points
1. Key points:
(1) Talk about the helpful inventions and annoying inventions.
(2) Guide the students to discuss their opinious on the inventions.
2. Difficult points :
(1) Discuss the opinions on some inventions.
(2) Use the target lang
