T he paper focused on concurr ency control mechanism of mobile transactions and proposed a concur rency control strateg y based on dynamic timer. By incr easing the dynamic timer in the lock manager, adjust ing t he transaction queues and allocating the execution time of transactions dynamically , this strateg y r educed the communicatio n overhead and enhanced the commit rates of transactions . T he per for mance tests show ed that the proposed concurrency control mechanism gr eatly improved t he commit r ate of transactions in mobile comput ing environment .
