Methods 28 cases with rare malignant mediastinal tumor confirmed pathologically were retrospectively analyzed. Plain CT scan- 的CT及PET/CT诊断 ning and contrast enhancement were performed to all cases, and 18-FDG-PET/CT was performed to 5 cases within a week among them. Results Among all 28 cases, 24 cases were male and 4 cases were female. The average age of patients was 42 years old. All cases were categorized into 6 different tissue sources including thymic carcinoma (n=9), malignant 广州医学院第一附属医院放射科 tumors originating from epithelial cells (n=9), tumors originating from germ cells (n=7), （广东广州 510120） malignant solitary fibroma (n= 1), malignant pheochromocytoma of Ganglion cells (n= 1), 陈镜聪 李新春 陈妙玲 sclerosing liposarcoma (n= 1).
