Fund Inspect Office of Forest Priority Project in ichuan, Chengdu 610081, China) Abstract: By using GI , the map of landscape patterns has been charted based on the land use classification obtained in 1992 and 2004.T he changes of landscape patterns in Wuqiaohe w atershed from 1992 to 2004 have been analyzed using GI and FRAG TAT . The results showed: 1) there was no significant change of the main landscape pattern during the 12 years; 2) the area of landscape pat terns has little change except that the area of construction land in creased greatly, and the area of paddy field decreased greatly ; 3) the shape of landscape pat tern w as more irregular; the isolation index of landscape pattern strengt hened, and both of the di
