My handwriting is not half as good as yours. 倍数 + 形容词的比较级 + than … The white box is four times deeper than the black box. This road is twice longer than that one. 倍数 + the size (length, width, height, depth) of … The red building is twice the height of the grey building. Our school is three times the size of yours. 注意： 请注意以下两个例句中倍数的翻译方法。 This room is three times as large as that one. 这个房间有那个房间三个大。 This room is three times larger than that one. 这个房间比那个房间大两倍。 2. “比较级 + and + 比较级”结构（两个同义形容词的比较级），表示“越来越……”的意思。 Winter is coming. It’s getting colder and colder. The girl becomes more and more beautiful. 3. “the + 比较级, the + 比较级结构” ，表示 “越……，就越……“的意思。 The busier my mum gets, the happier she is. 4. 在形容词比较级前可以用：a little, a bit, a lot, rather, no, any, (very) much, far, even, still, yet等副词来修饰。 This book is a lot more interesting than that one.
