Then, model rats were divided into model 、 Qichang Huashi and Mesalazine group. And a group of rats untreated was used as blank group. The number of each group is ten. Qichang Huashi and Mesalazine group rats were irrigated to stomach with drug dilutions for 10 days successively. Then, all groups of rats were killed and colon tissues and a mesenteric lymph node were cut out for inspections. Results The numbers of DCs in colonic mucosa increased and the MHC- Ⅱand CD86 expressive levels in the mesenteric lymph nodes enhanced in model rats. The Qichang Huashi decoction can decrease the numbers （P 0.01 ）,suppressed the. Upregulation of MHC- Ⅱand CD86 （P 0.01 ）,decrease TNF- ａ concentration and increaseclaudin- 1 gene expression significantly （P 0.01 ）,thus to protect claudin- 1 protein （P 0.05 ）.
