骨與軟組織腫瘤暨困難病例研討會 Bone Soft Tissue Tumor Symposium May 25, 2014 Brief history Virtual slides Slide-1: Presenter: Yoshinao Oda (小田義直, Kyushu University, Japan History:One year ago, this 44-year-old female patient noticed a mass at her right groin. The lesion grew slowly and the resection of the tumor was performed. The tumor was located at the subcutis. The cut surface was grayish or yellow in colour and myxomatous in appearance. Seven months later, local recurrence and lymph node metastasis were occurred Slide-2: Presenter: Jen-Chieh Lee (李仁傑, National Taiwan University Hospital, Taiwan History:The 46-year-old woman was afflicted with subacute delirium and psychosis. Intractable hypophosphatemia was found during hospitalization for psychiatric symptoms. Left hip pain was complained, and bone scan found multiple “hot spots”. A small back tumor was noticed by the patient, and tumor excision was performed Slide-3: Presenter: Chien-Feng Li (李健逢, Chi-Mei Medical Center, Taiwan History:This 18-year-old male presented with painful sensation in the left 2nd toe and cramping of the left leg with occasional fasciculation. Neither atrophy nor muscle weakness was noted during neurological examinations. Under the impression of infection, the left foot underwent radiological examination and showed a corresponding ill-defined osteolytic lesion, suggestive of osteomelyitis. Debridement of the toe lesion was performed, which justified the MRI study of the left lower limb and subsequent excisions of one each lesion in the tibial bone and calf muscle, respectively.
