It borders the Black Sea between Turkey and Russia People Georgian, Moldovan, Romanian, Russian and Ukrainian are all spoken in the Eastern Europe Territory Though all were a part of the USSR under the communist government, each country has a distinct and interesting heritage Issues Since the fall of communism, all five nations have struggled economically and faced political instability Air pollution has taken its toll on the region Many areas face problems with alcoholism and drug addiction The numbers of unemployed and underemployed persons are some of the highest in Europe How is The Salvation Army helping?
