All contractors are expected to get the license under the provisions of section 12 of this Act. Application for such licenses are to be submitted along with the Certificate from principal employer. This application for license contains details like details of work, expected dates of commencement completion, Maximum number of labours proposed to be deployed. Under Rule 81, Principal Employer is expected to submit returns within 15 days of the commencement of work or completion of work under each contractor in form VI-B. and to send the annual report/ return in Form-XXV before 15th February.
