The manufacturing meets the variable demand of the consumer, as well as needs strong flexibility. It doesn’t increase product cost under the circumstances of small scope production or even simple production. Then it is pivotal for the development speed of product and the manufacturing flexibility. And it is a hot issue for rapid prototyping manufacturing (RPM), especially in surface measurement of irregular object. Some parts which surface is slick and appears mirror reflection, such as irregular industrial sheetmetal parts, can be hardly retrieved by computer vision. If they are retrieved by laser scanning, their surface should be wiped farina, which decreases the whole speed and precision of measurement. Based on the theory of close-range photogrammetry, irregular industrial sheetmetal parts which are short of available texture are retrieved by us
