Students will make a timeline of important events proceeding the Revolutionary War. Students will make a word of the term “heritage” to find out what it means. Students will illustrate pictures that shows how lifestyles have changed over the past two hundred years. Students will create a vintage museum within the room to display their artwork. Students will read the book, Black and White, to understand the struggles of African Americans during this time period. Students will research the relationships between settlers and Native Americans.
