One-thirds of adult males and one fifth of adult females have hypertension, which has been found to be predictive of stroke, coronary heart disease and heart failure. Previous studies have shown that heritabilities were high in metabolism of lipid, renin-angiotensin system, salt sensitivity of blood pressure and insulin resistance(Abney, McPek and Ober; 2001; Rotimi, Cooper Cao; et al.; 1999). Genetics may play an important role on the development of hypertension. A major challenge confronting the field in genetics of complex traits is the need for better phenotypes, which are subject to age, sex, treatment effects and measurement errors. Methods have been used to deal non-normality when using vaiance component (Rotimi, Cooper Cao; et al.; 1999). All the proban are to have essential hypertension, it is un-ethic to ask them not to take medicine. Unless we have follow-up a cohort for long time and have taken measurements periodically, it is difficult to get the measurements before the unset of diseases, say blood pressures. Some researchers
