Abstract OnthebasisofsimplificationofthePlanckfunctioninalowtemperaturerange，thispaperrevisesthepractical
split-windowalgorithm andpresentsamethodforretrievingsnowsurfacetemperature(Ts)basedonMODISdatainthemid—
