The influences of the reaction cond itions ( including hydrotherm al tmi e and hydrotherm al temperature) on the crystal structure and selectivity of crystal grow th in d ifferent d irections of the productsw ere investigated by Xray diffraction and scann ing electron m icroscopy. It has been shown that w ith increasing the hydrothermal tmi e at the same hydrothermal temperature or increasing the hydrothermal temperature at the same hydrothermal tmi e the crystallization of theLDHs increased and the particle size became larger. The size of the crystallites in direction a w as larger than that in the direction c under all expermi ental conditions.
