easurement of dielectric properties of thin films with impedance analyzer

Abstract: The method of measuring dielectric properties of thin films with an impedance analyzer is discussed.
Themeasurement set is composed of an Agilent 4294A precision impedance analyzer, a 16047A adaptor and a
probe plate. By measuring the capacitance-voltage curve, the dielectric constant of HfO thin film is obtained.

The interface statedensity at S-i HfO interface, the fixed and mobile ionic charge densities near the interface

are computed. T he work can bea research project for university physics experiment course.
