Because of the paper reel’s moment of inertia changes gradually during the rewinding process, so the motor’s power must be changed in order to make the paper’s tension invariable. So when calculating the limit of the torque, we should consider to compensate it with the moment and accelerative torque of the paper. The function of the torque limit is presented in this paper, and the approximate equation is also presented. Based on this the fore-and-aft actual web tension is compared.
