L td, Wuhan 443002, China Abstract: Controlled Source A udio- frequency M agnetotellurics ( CSAMT ) scale measure- ment has many advantages; first, doing CSAMT points the speed is very faster and less disturbed by the human noise than M agnetotellurics; second, CSA MT can be applied in re- mote mountains and steep valley or hole- in- the- w all area because the prospecting depth of CSAMT is achieved by the frequency; third, CSAMT method provides a better penetrat- ing ability from the earthcs surface to above 1 kilometer and a better transverse resolving capability .
