Methods: We investigated 44 stomatological nursing interns and 46 general nursing interns in a high professional techonology school in Tianjing. Results: ① The mean scores of professional self-identity and self-directed learning readiness of stomatological nursing interns were higher than those of general nursing interns (t=4.091, 4.656; P0.001). ② The mean score of professional self-identity of stomatological nursing interns who were in only-child was higher than that of interns who had brothers or sisters (t=2.052, P0.05).Conclusion: We should cultivate and strengthen the stomatological nursing interns stable professional self-identity and the self-directed learning readiness in professional stomatological nursing education.
