Objective: This study aims to explore the association between the density of Himalayan marmot (Marmota himalayana) and climatic factors such as temperature, precipitation, humidity, vapour pressure, sunshine percentage, wind velocity,whicharecloselyassociatedwithglobalclimatechange,andtoprovidea referenceforplaguepreventionandcontrol. Methods: Weconductedaregression analysistofindthepossibleclimatefactorsassociatedwiththedensityofHimalaya marmot,andanalyzedtheresponsecharactersofHimalayanmarmottoclimatechange. Results: Dailyprecipitationdays(=0.1mm)andsunshinepercentageweresignificantly associatedwiththedensityofHimalayanmarmot(p 0.01). Conclusion: Climatechange wasassociatedwiththeriskofplague.ThisphenomenonisvaluableforHimalayan marmotandplagueprevention.Morestudiesareneededtounderstandtheimpactof climatechangeonHimalayanmarmotandplague.
