Abstract: T he titan ium d iox ide was prepared w ith TN B w hich is the form er m aterial in the so lgel
process. T aking pheno l as the degeneration ob ject, the T iO2 pho tochem ical catalyt ic activity in sta tic sys
tem w as stud ied. T he conclu sion is as fo llow s: w hen the concentration of pheno lw as 20 m g /L and the illu
m ination tmi e w as 10 h, the phenol photochem ical cata lysis degeneration rate w as 91. 2% under the acid ic
cond ition. A nd dea ling w ith T iO2 by w ater o r 0. 2% N aOH, the cata ly tic activity o f T iO2 can be reused.
